How to Create RealTime AI Visuals in Daydream

If you have ever wanted to make stunning, interactive visuals without buying expensive GPUs, Daydream is built for you. It is a platform where creators can generate, play, and share AI-powered visuals in real time right from your browser.

Step 1: Getting Oriented

When you first open Daydream, you will land in 3D Input Mode. Here is the layout:
  • Right-hand side: your input. Choose different shapes from the drop-down menu.
  • Below the input: your input parameters, which adjust depending on the type of input.
  • Center: your output, where your realtime visuals appear.
  • Left-hand side: a list of preset prompts if you do not want to type your own.
  • Bottom: the prompt box where you can enter custom prompts.
  • Top bar: switch between Interactive Mode and Camera Mode.

Step 2: Playing with Interactive Mode

Click into Interactive Mode and you will see a swirling fluid scene. This is where the fun begins:
  • Move your mouse to interact with the fluid.
  • Experiment with the forces until you find something you like.
Adjust Denoise (under the input settings):
  • High denoise = output closely follows your input.
  • Low denoise = output drifts into freer, abstract results.
Try Multi-ControlNet for extra precision:
  • HED: softer edges and fine details.
  • Canny: sharper edges and bold outlines.
  • Depth: a depth map that preserves the structure of your input.
  • Color: keeps the original colors intact.
Together, denoise and control nets let you balance structure with creativity.

Step 3: Saving and Blending Prompts

Once you have a setup you like, hit Save to store your configuration. Want to experiment? Try prompt blending. Add a second prompt and use the slider to blend between the two. For example:
  • Slide left = Van Gogh’s Starry Night.
  • Slide right = Hokusai’s Great Wave.
Somewhere in between = a surreal mix of both.

Step 4: Exploring More Input Types

Daydream is not limited to fluid scenes. You can also try:
  • Drawing Canvas: Turn your input into a sketchpad. Change brush size, fade your strokes, or play with line tools.
  • Audio-Reactive Mode: Make visuals that respond to sound. Use your microphone as the input source, upload your own music file, or test with the built-in demo track.
    • You can also adjust the audio sensitivity slider to sync with the beat.

Step 5: Recording Your Creations

Ready to capture your masterpiece? Press Record to start capturing your output. While recording, you can keep changing prompts, tweaking denoise, or blending new inputs. Hit Stop to save your video.

Step 6: Share and Connect

Creating is better when it is shared. Join the Daydream Discord to:
  • See what other creators are making.
  • Share your own clips.
  • Swap tips and techniques.
And if you are ready to push further, join the API waitlist to start building your own custom realtime AI workflows.

Time to Play

That is it. You have everything you need to start making realtime AI visuals in Daydream. From fluid scenes to audio-reactive worlds, it is a space to experiment, remix, and bring your imagination to life. Now it is your turn. Fire up Daydream, try a few prompts, and see where your creativity takes you.
